Jared M. Witt
Jared M. Witt is a business and real estate lawyer. He counsels and represents clients on a myriad of matters ranging from general corporate law issues – including starting, organizing and funding businesses – to day-to-day operational issues, employment issues, licensing, purchasing and selling assets and other M&A transactions, commercial leases and all transactional real estate issues. Jared formed Witt Law in 2004.
Jared's legal and business background includes positions in large and small law firm environments and as in-house corporate counsel. Previously, he was associated with the Princeton firm, Jamieson Moore Peskin & Spicer and New York-based Windels Marx Lane & Mittendorf as a corporate securities attorney, and served as General Counsel of TerraCycle, Inc. Jared’s business experience includes real estate and restaurant interests. Jared received his Bachelors Degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and his Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers University School of Law.
Jared lives in the small town of Rocky Hill, New Jersey, where he has served as Borough Council President, Public Defender, as well as on other local governmental committees and non-profit Boards. He is active in any outdoor endeavor, and making music.
Jared is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and the Federal District of New Jersey, New York and the Southern District of New York, and the State of Colorado (inactive).
